Henry Stewart Talks - Biomedical & Life Science Collection - until 5/16/12

This collection of specially prepared animated audio visual presentations with synchronized narration by world leading scientists is keeping researchers informed throughout the world.

The collection is organized into comprehensive series, regularly updated and growing with over 1,000 talks. New presentations are constantly becoming available. You may browse through the series, search for a talk covering a subject of interest or register a recommendation for continued access at your institution or company.

Social Theory - until 5/21/12

Social Theory offers an extensive selection of documents that explore the complexities and interpret the nature of social behavior and organization. Particular care has been taken to index this material so that it can be searched more thoroughly than ever before. This final release features more than 150,000 pages of content by such major theorists as Theodor Adorno, Jean Baudrillard, Simone de Beauvoir, Charlotte Perkins Gilman, Émile Durkheim, Michel Foucault, Jürgen Habermas, Robert Merton, Dorothy E. Smith , and Talcott Parsons.
