Walker Library

Finding Textbooks and Course Materials

In the Library Know the title? Search the catalog.

While we don't typically buy textbooks for the regular collection, you will sometimes find an older copy available for checkout or a professor's copy placed on Course Reserve. Take note of the edition and item location.

Don't know the title? Search the Course Reserve system

Search by course number (e.g., 2300) or instructor last name. Course Reserve items may be picked up at the Circulation desk on the 1st floor and are typically available for in-library use for 3 hours.

At the Bookstore

The MTSU Bookstore is located in the new Student Union building on the east side of campus. You may also buy or rent online from the bookstore.

Several off-campus bookstores are located around town.
