Where Do I Find Article Indexes?

Start your research in the JEWL Search box on the library homepage

On the JEWL Search tab, choose Articles from the dropdown box (All is the default) to search multiple indexes (databases) at once.

The Databases tab allows you to find a specific database by name, for example, Academic Search Premier or LexisNexis.

Research Guides are pages with a custom list of article databases and other resources based on the topic you are researching or the type of material you are seeking. The Library has a research guide for most academic majors and for many special topics like citation style, biographies, current issues, and more.

FYI, the Library Catalog tab offers another way of searching for books, media and music in the library.

Journal Locator is a tool that lets you determine if the library has access to a specific periodical. You'll learn more about Journal Locator later in this module.
