Laptops

Microsoft Office is installed on all of the laptops. Documents should be e-mailed to the student's account or saved to a USB flash drive frequently.  There is a small amount of storage on the laptop's hard drive.  However, all documents are deleted after the laptop is returned to the Technology Services desk.

Upon checkout, the patron signs a form assuming financial responsibility for the laptop and its condition upon return to the desk. Any borrower who fails to return a laptop to the desk will be denied laptop borrowing privileges in the future.

Documents printed from the Walker Library laptops may be retrieved from the printers in the first floor Research Commons. Printing instructions are available near the print station. The name of your print job is "liblap" plus the number on your laptop (e.g., "liblap32") . Printing is not available for personal laptops.
