February 4, Webcast: "Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources: Focus on the Civil Rights Movement in Tennessee," 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. In celebration of African American History Month and the fiftieth anniversary of the first full-scale Nashville sit-in, this Webcast will take a look back at the Civil Rights movement in Tennessee. Interested teachers in the Middle Tennessee viewing area can register (for free!) to watch this broadcast (for in-service credit!) at their schools. If you're close to MTSU, come to the Learning Resources Center and be part of our live studio audience! Teachers may also view Webcasts via the Internet and cable television.
