What is the Banned Books Campus Tour?
In honor of Banned Books Week, the Walker Library will be touring the campus to engage with students on the topics of book banning and censorship. At each tour stop students will be able to interact with a display that highlights the history and ongoing challenges related to book banning and censorship in the United States. Students will be able to explore some of the most banned/challenged books in the last year and learn more about why each book was banned/challenged. Walker Library staff will also be on hand to answer questions and to loan out banned books to students. The Banned Books Campus tour is sponsored by MT Engage and the James E. Walker Library.

Make buttons!
In addition to the banned books on display and available for checkout, students will have the opportunity to create banned book-themed buttons using the Library's button maker. Choose from a variety of images/templates, and make your very own button in seconds. All supplies will be provided, and staff will be on hand to provide guidance.
