PHA connects members with shared interests to develop scientific program content and policy papers in their areas of interest or fields of practice. The Public Health Education and Health Promotion section provides professional and social networking, career development, and mentoring, as well.

NCHEC enhances the professional practice of health education by promoting and sustaining a credentialed body of Health Education Specialists. To meet this mission, NCHEC certifies health education specialists, promotes professional development, and strengthens professional preparation and practice.

PHLN aims to advance public health practice and improve population health in the United States and associated territories. The network of ten university-based regional public health training centers and over 80 community-based training partners focus on skills-based training serving communities across the United States, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and U.S. territories

SOPHE is a nonprofit, independent professional association that represents a diverse membership of nearly 4,000 health education professionals and students in the United States and 25 international countries.

Through monthly website features, social media, and an e-newsletter, the CDC Learning Connection keeps you informed about public health trainings, including many that offer free continuing education (CE).
