I created the following maps using the library database called Social Explorer. It's a special mapping database that allows you to create customized maps using predefined data sets. In this case, I used the most recent American Community Survey Data from 2013.* You can create your own maps for this project or keep it in mind for future assignments.
All maps zoom to street level. To see the specific population numbers just hover your cursor over a census tract area. The five largest groups are represented within each population. The maps are best viewed using a PC/laptop; viewing from a mobile device requires downloading the free app.

*The most recent (2012-2015) immigrant/refugee arrivals from Burma, Bhutan, Burundi, Somalia, Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iraq, Eritrea, and Cuba are not reflected. Those official Census numbers should be available soon.
**Special note: the Census Bureau does not have a designated category for Kurdish immigrants; instead they are included with Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria, and "other Western Asians." However, two credible organizations serving Nashville's Kurdish population have very similar total population estimates. The Salahadeen Center of Nashville proclaims to serve "over 10,000 families in Nashville and surrounding towns."; and the NICE organization estimates it serves between 9,000-11,000.
