Students will go through the full research process to complete a research paper on a topic related to their class or disciplines. They should then reflect on their process, what information sources they included (genres/types and formats), why they included them, and how their research shaped their paper.
There are so many alternatives to the research paper that they would be hard to name them all, but some suggestions include: an academic blog or website, a poster presentation, a piece of digital scholarship, or a NPR or TedTalk production.
