Students will find a scientist in their disciplines of study. They should find research that scientist has published as well as several sources related to the biography/personal and professional history about that person. The students will then construct their own biography of the scientist.
Students should reflect on the education the scientist has, what steps they took to get to their position, and what steps the students are taking and need to take to progress their own education and careers in their disciplines.
While a standard written assignment is possible for this project, this lesson plan is written for a multimodal project using either a social media profile or timeline program like Capzles.
