As part of the 2025 Strategic Vision and Goals, the Walker Library is accepting applications for pilot projects. The point of a pilot project is to test a service or undertaking and make a decision if it should become a permanent offering of the Walker Library. These projects should meet one or more of the strategic goals and support the strategic vision. Each application must be approved by the lead applicant's department head and then by Library Council.
Each pilot project should have measurable outcomes and at least one form of assessment. Upon the completion of the pilot project, the lead applicant will produce a report to Library Council on how well the project met its outcomes, including a recommendation on whether or not to make the project a permanent offering of the Walker Library.
The deadline for pilot projects for the AY 19/20 is 31 October 2019.
