Finding Case Law Using Google Scholar

Remember there are limitations within the Google case results: (1) no editorial enhancement such as synopsis or head notes; (2) the "How Cited" results are not inclusive of all cases--only the cases included within Google's database.  Comprehensive citator results are only available from commercial legal databases such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and HeinOnline.

Researchers should begin their U.S. federal legislative history research with this finding aid, which often includes references to law review articles focusing on a particular legislative history.
