Renewals: One renewal may be available if there is not a waiting list for items. A renewal may be requested online. You will need to have your MTSU ID and the barcode number on the back to renew online.
Overdue Fines: Overdue fines for equipment are $20. The maximum overdue charge for a single item is $20. Failure to return equipment on the due date will result in a $20 overdue fine. If the equipment is not returned within 24 hours, a bill for replacement and a processing charge will be added to the overdue fine. All equipment should be returned to the library 30 minutes before closing. Borrowers are responsible for the replacement cost of lost or damaged equipment.
Microsoft Office is installed on all library laptops. Documents should be e-mailed to the student’s account or saved to a USB flash drive. All documents left on the computer will be deleted after return to the Technology Services Desk as the computer is reset for another user.
Failure to return a laptop or other lending equipment may impact a student’s ability to borrow lending equipment in the future.
TI-84 calculators are available for 3-day check-out by currently enrolled students. See additional policies at the top of the page.
Ethernet ports are in all study areas throughout the library.

USB-wired mouse devices may be checked out from the Technology Services desk for use with library or personal laptops.
Available for 3-day check out from the Technology Services Desk or the Makerspace (card readers in the MakerSpace are available for 4 hour check-out with one renewal).

Additional Makerspace (Arduino kits, headphones, etc.) and Multi-Media Equipment (Cameras, audio recorders, etc.) is available for check-out in the MakerSpace.
