Once you have added artifacts to your EPortfolio, you are ready to start creating your presentation.
Remember that you must add artifacts to your portfolio news feed before you can add them to your presentation.
If you need help adding artifacts, you can check the “Adding Artifacts” video for more information.
If your instructor has already provided you with a template, you can view the video “Using a Template From An Instructor” instead of this one.
On the right hand side of the screen, under the Build Your EPortfolio heading, there is a New Presentation Button.
We will start by clicking on this button. This will take you to a new page titled New Presentation.
This is the space where we will do all the work which is required for making a presentation.
The first thing you should see is the Properties Tab.
This tab allows you to name the presentation, add a description, and add tags, among other things.
The title of your presentation will only be seen by you and your instructor, so you should name it something that makes sense for your situation.
I’m going to name this document training video.
The system will not let you go any further without naming the document.
The system also has a box for a description and for tags.
The content of these boxes will not be seen by anyone but yourself, they are meant to help you stay organized.
You do not have to put anything in these boxes if you don’t want to.
Once you have input all the information you want, you can select save, and the presentation will be saved to your EPortfolio news feed.
In the next couple of videos we will talk about adding content and changing the look of your presentation.
