2nd Floor Main Collection (past the elevators) - Oversize Art Books
Large format art books are shelved in the Oversize section located on the 2nd floor, past the elevators, on the right. All oversize books have Library of Congress (LC) call numbers (N - NX), and their call number will begin with the oversize prefix: OVER.
2nd Floor Main Collection (past the elevators) - Art Books
Walker Library's main collection of art books are found in two separate locations, depending upon their call numbers. Art books whose call numbers use LC classification are shelved on the 2nd floor and have call numbers in the N - NX range. Books about art education with LC call numbers are also on the 2nd floor in the LB - LC call number ranges.
3rd Floor Main Collection (past the elevators) - Art Education Books
Art education books with Dewey call numbers are located on the 3rd floor, primarily in the 372.5 to 372.59 call number range.
4th Floor Main Collection (past the elevators) - Art Books
The remainder of Walker Library's main collection of art books, those with Dewey call numbers, are shelved on the 4th floor and have call numbers in the 700 - 769 range.
3rd Floor Curriculum Collection (near the front stairwell)
The Curriculum Collection contains materials typically found in a K-12 school library, including picture books, Easy Readers, and juvenile fiction and non-fiction. This collection also contains books on art education theory and art lesson plan ideas to use in the clasroom, as well as books about art and artists for young readers.
