Digital Journal and Magazine Apps: Journal and Magazine Apps

Flipster and BrowZine

These services allow current MTSU students, faculty, and staff to read magazines or journals on a mobile device.

Flipster is a service for reading popular magazines on a desktop or mobile device.

BrowZine is a service for reading scholarly articles on a desktop or mobile device.

What is BrowZine?

Browse, read and share articles from many of MTSU's subscribed journals on a desktop, iPhone, iPad, or Android tablet.

Not all scholarly publishers participate in BrowZine, but MTSU users have access to about 4,000 journals through BrowZine. See the BrowZine/Third Iron website for a list of participating publishers.

BrowZine now offers a browser extension, LibKey Nomad, that provides instant access to full-text content we subscribe to when searching publisher websites. To download for your browser, visit our Helpful E-Resources Tips page. For more information, visit
