The Recreational Reading Collection: Books in the Print Collection

Recreational Reading in the Print Collection

Electronic e-books and audiobooks are the preferred format for Walker Library's recreational reading collection, but that doesn't mean you can't find a good print book for your leisure reading. Click on a cover image below to see the book's call number and floor location.

Ready to Make a Request?

We welcome requests for new material for our collection from anyone in the MTSU community. Before you make a request, please check our catalog. If we already own a book in one format, we will usually not purchase it in a second format. You can request material through our request form or by using the "Notify Me" tag in the Libby app.

About the Recreational Reading Collection

The James E. Walker Library supports recreational and leisure reading as a means of encouraging and supporting the life of the mind and a love of lifelong learning. E-books and audiobooks are purchased through the OverDrive platform and are primarily selected based on user request. To express interest in an OverDrive title, browse or search MTSU's collection on the Libby app and use the "Notify Me" smart tag for items you would like us to consider purchasing. Download the Libby app to get started.
