Using the library catalog (http://find.mtsu.edu/vufind/), current MTSU students, faculty, and staff may request circulating items from the Walker Library's print collection. Select the "Pull and Hold" option for the item you would like to request. After submitting your request, you will get an email confirmation when your item is ready to be picked up.
Given the library's temporary closure, requested items can be picked up during the following times:
Walker Library "Pull & Hold" (contact-free) book pick-up times
Monday through Friday, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
You may have up to 15 “Pull and Hold” requests active at one time. Please bring your MTSU Blue ID to pick up your requested material(s).
NOTE: Any student who lives off campus may request library books to be delivered by mail. Mailed book requests must be made through the InterLibrary Loan system (https://library.mtsu.edu/ill). Please add a note to your request that says MAIL DELIVERY. There is no charge for this service, but students will be responsible for returning the books to the library.
Scans of articles from Walker Library's print Periodicals collection can be requested using the library's Scan Request form. Items will be scanned and delivered electronically by email within 48 hours.
During this time, you can check out textbooks assigned to high enrollment courses for seven days. For directions on finding LTP books, see our LTP Course Reserves Page.
