Admission is "pay-what-you-can" with a suggested donation of $10 per person and $20 per family. All proceeds from admission go to the library textbook program.
With more than two decades as a vital member of the Murfreesboro community, Middle Tennessee State University’s James E. Walker Library will host its first-ever Spring Festival of the Arts on Saturday, March 7 from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm. The event is open to everyone, especially those with children, and it will serve as a fundraiser to support the library’s student success efforts, including the recently launched library textbook program.
The library purchases textbooks for high enrollment general education classes and places them on reserve. The library textbook program helps students who cannot get their textbook at the start of the semester or are unable to afford textbooks. The program helps retain students and supports their academic success.
This fundraiser is supported in part by a donation from EBSCO, a company that specializes in library resources for academic, medical, K–12, public library, law, corporate, and government markets.
