AnatomyTOOL (Topic Oriented Open Learning) is a platform for learning and teaching of anatomy that offers open, quality reviewed, anatomical learning materials and tools, including images. Most images are licensed under a Creative Commons license.
The Bassett Collection of images and accompanying drawings were compiled by Dr. David Lee Bassett (1913-1966) into a 24-volume "Stereoscopic Atlas of Human Anatomy" that was completed in 1962 - the results of a seventeen-year collaborative project.
A collection of anatomical illustrations made by Nan Cheney in the Department of Anatomy at the University of British Columbia. She was the first medical artist in their Faculty of Medicine and held the position from 1951 to 1962.
