Proxy Borrowing

MTSU faculty members may designate students or dependents as proxies who are authorized to borrow Walker Library materials on their behalf. Application forms for proxy borrowers must be printed, signed, and returned to the Walker Library Circulation Desk per the instructions on the forms below.

Materials borrowed by proxies are charged to the faculty member’s account and the faculty member is responsible for all materials borrowed, including losses or damage and any fines or fees that may result. Overdue notices and other communications are sent to the faculty borrower and that individual’s account may be blocked if materials are not returned.

Proxy borrowing arrangements should be made with the Circulation staff at the Circulation Desk of the Walker Library. Proxy forms are maintained on file in the Circulation department for the duration of the semester.
