Special Collections is able to offer practicum/ field work experience for MLS graduate students. We offer projects that provide field experience in a variety of areas in a special collections setting. We are only able to take on one student per semester.
Some examples of experience we can offer: collection processing, cataloging, inventory, material conservation via enclosures, archival arrangement, and exhibit curation.
Interested students should follow the application guidelines available on the James E. Walker Fieldwork/Practicum page.
