A very large collection of materials from the National Archives records of the Department of State. Includes dispatches from U.S.
diplomats serving in foreign countries as well as notes exchanged between the Department of State and foreign legations in this
country. Some documents begin in the late 1700's and go to 1939. Provides much source material on U.S. relations with such foreign
countries as Venezuela, Spain, Mexico, and Russia.
